                          Generation One

1.  Dr. Edward Ellis; b. 1621 at Wales; m. Sarah Blott, daughter of
Robert Blott and Susanna Selbee, 8mo 6 1652 at Boston, MA; d. 23 Apr
1695 at Boston, MA.
     He was a physician. He immigrated before 1652 to New England.

     Sarah Blott was baptized on 2 Oct 1631 at Puddington,
Bedfordshire, England. She died on 18 Dec 1711 at age 80.

2.  Dr. Robert Ellis (Edward1); b. 24 Sep 1671 at Boston, MA; baptized
at First Church, Boston, MA; m. Elizabeth Pemberton, daughter of
Thomas Pemberton and Hannah Phillips, 4 Jun 1698 at Boston, MA; d. 7
Apr 1720 at Boston, MA, at age 48.
     He was a surgeon in the expedition against Lewisburg. He was a
merchant. He left a will on 23 Feb 1719; proved 19 Apr 1720.

     Elizabeth Pemberton was born on 17 Jun 1678 at Boston, MA. She
was baptized on 23 Jun 1678. She left a will in Aug 1737; proved 20
Sep 1737. She died on 11 Sep 1737 at age 59.

daughter of Daniel Willard and Mary Mills; 1st wife, 2nd husband; m.
Abigail Otis 18 Oct 1756 at Narragansett, RI; d. 1769 at Amsterdam,
Holland.
     He was Surgeon General of Massachusetts Troops on 19 Feb 1744.

     Mary Willard was born on 16 Nov 1695 at Boston, MA. She married
___ Cuyler; 1st husband. She died circa 1745.
     Known children of Dr. Edward Ellis and Mary Willard were as

4.  Maria Ellis (Edward3, Robert2, Edward1); b. 1 May 1730 at Boston,
MA; m. Capt. Edward Watmough 30 Jan 1748/49 at Boston, MA.

     Capt. Edward Watmough was born in 1729 at England. He was Captain
of the Rangers in 1761 at Massachusetts. He died at Halifax, NS,
Canada. He was buried at Halifax, NS, Canada.
