                          Generation One

1.  Maj. David Gwynn; m. Katherine Griffin, daughter of Col. Samuel
Griffin and Sarah; 2nd husband; d. 1703.
     He resided at Richmond Co., VA. He left a will; proved 22 Feb
1702/3.

     Katherine Griffin was born on 16 Mar 1664. She married Col.
William Fauntleroy, son of Col. Moore Fauntleroy and Mary Hill, on 14
Dec 1678; 1st husband. She married David Ridley before 6 Feb 1694; 3rd
husband. She died on 24 Sep 1728 at Richmond Co., VA, at age
64.
     Known children of Maj. David Gwynn and Katherine Griffin were:
     2.          i. Elizabeth Gwynn; b. 31 Dec 1692; m. Maj. Stephen
                    Lyde; m. Hon. John Tayloe.

2.  Elizabeth Gwynn (David1); b. 31 Dec 1692; m. Maj. Stephen Lyde; m.
Hon. John Tayloe, son of Hon. William Taylor and Anne Corbin; d. 24
Sep 1734 at age 41.
