2.  Hon. James Bowles (Tobias1); b. at London, England; m. Rebecca
Tasker Addison, daughter of Col. Thomas Addison and Elizabeth Tasker;
1st husband; d. circa 1727 at Maryland.
     He was a member of Council at Maryland. He resided at Patuxent,
MD. He was a merchant. He resided at Gloucester Co., MD.

     Rebecca Tasker Addison was born on 3 Jan 1703/4. She married Col.
George Plater, son of George Plater and Anne Burford, on 10 Jun 1729;
2nd husband, 1st wife. She died between 1742 and 1749.
     Known children of Hon. James Bowles and Rebecca Tasker Addison
were as follows:
     3.          i. Eleanor Bowles, m. William Gooch Jr; m. Col.
                    Warner Lewis.
                ii. Mary Bowles; m. William Armistead circa 1736; 2nd
                    wife.


                          Generation Three

3.  Eleanor Bowles (James2, Tobias1); m. William Gooch Jr., son of
Gov. William Gooch; 1st husband; m. Col. Warner Lewis, son of Col.
John Lewis and Frances Fielding, circa 1746; 2nd husband.
     She and Col. Warner Lewis resided at 'Warner Hall', Abingdon
Parish, Gloucester Co., VA.

     Col. Warner Lewis was born on 10 Oct 1720 at 'Warner Hall',
Abingdon Parish, Gloucester Co., VA. He died after 5 Jul 1779 at
Virginia.
