1653 at Caermarthen, Wales.
     He was Bishop of St. Davids in 1636.

2.  Mary Mainwaring (Roger1); b. circa 1606; m. Robert Brooke, son of
Thomas Brooke and Susan Forster, 11 May 1635 at Battell, Sussex,
England; 2nd wife; d. 29 Nov 1663 at 'Brooke Place Manor', Calvert
Co., MD.
     She and Robert Brooke immigrated on 30 Jun 1650 to Charles Co.,
MD.

     Robert Brooke was born on 3 Jun 1602 at London, England. He was
graduated on 6 Jul 1620 at Wadham College, Oxford, England; B.A. He
was graduated on 20 Apr 1624 at Wadham College, Oxford, England; M.A.
He resided at Whitchurch, Hampshire, England. He married Mary Baker,
daughter of Thomas Baker Esq. and Mary Engham, on 25 Feb 1627 at
London, England; 1st wife. He resided in 1650 at 'Brooke Place Manor',
Charles Co., MD. He was a member of Council on 22 Jul 1650 at
Maryland. He was President of Council in 1652 at Maryland. He was
Acting Governor in 1652 at Maryland. He died on 20 Jul 1655 at Calvert
Co., MD, at age 53. He was buried at 'Brooke Place Manor', Calvert
Co., MD.
