Hutchins Family

                          Generation One

1.  Francis Hutchins; m. Elizabeth Burrage, daughter of John Burrage
and Margaret Maulden; d. 1698.
     He resided at Hunting Creek, Calvert Co., MD. He was a member of
the House of Burgesses at Maryland. He left a will on 20 Feb 1698 at
Calvert Co., MD; proved 14 Jul 1698.

     Elizabeth Burrage was also known as Elza. She was born in 1655 at
Calvert Co., MD.
     Known children of Francis1 Hutchins and Elizabeth Burrage were as
follows:
     2.          i. Elizabeth Hutchins, m. Roger Brooke; m. Capt.
                    Richard Smith.
                ii. John Hutchins.
               iii. Rebecca Hutchins; m. Richard Johns, son of Richard
                    Johns and Elizabeth Kensey.
     3.         iv. Mary Frances Hutchins, m. Samuel Thomas.


                          Generation Two

2.  Elizabeth Hutchins (Francis1); m. Roger Brooke, son of Roger
Brooke and Dorothy Neale, 23 Feb 1702; 1st husband; m. Capt. Richard
Smith, son of Richard Smith Jr. and Elizabeth Brooke; 2nd husband.

     Roger Brooke was born on 12 or 13 Apr 1673 at Calvert Co., MD. He
resided at Prince George's Co., MD. He died in Sep 1718 at Prince
George's Co., MD, at age 45.

3.  Mary Frances Hutchins (Francis1); m. Samuel Thomas, son of Philip
Thomas and Sarah Harrison, 15 May 1688 at Anne Arundel Co., MD; d. Jul
1751.
     She resided at Calvert Co., MD. She was also known as Mary
Hutchins.

     Samuel Thomas was born circa 1655 at Maryland. He was a Quaker
Minister. He died before 1743 at Anne Arundel Co., MD.
