William Rymer and ___ Warmwell; d. 22 Dec 1478; bur. at St. Thomas
churchyard, Salisbury, Wiltshire, England.
     He was a member of Parliament. He resided at Hill Deverill,
Wiltshire, England. He was Butler to Kings Henry  IV, Henry V, & Henry
VI.

     Margaret Rymer was born circa 1403. She died at St. Thomas a
Becket, Salisbury, Wiltshire, England.

bur. at St. Thomas a Becket, Salisbury, Wiltshire, England.
     He resided at Ludgershall, England. He resided at Salisbury,
Wiltshire, England.

     Lora Ringwood was born circa 1430.

     Philippa Bulstrode was born circa 1463.

5.  George Ludlow (William4Ludlowe, John3, John2, William1); b. circa
1522 at prob. Hill Deverill, co. Wilts, England; m. Edith Windsor,
daughter of Sir Andrews Windsor and Elizabeth Blount, before 26 Mar
1543.
     He resided at Hill Deverill, Wiltshire, England. He was Sheriff
in 1567 at Wiltshire, England. He resided at West Shireborne, England.
He left a will on 25 May 1580; proved 4 Feb 1580/1.

     Edith Windsor was born perhaps 1515.

6.  Thomas Ludlow (George5, William4Ludlowe, John3, John2, William1);
b. circa 1555; m. Jane Pyle, daughter of Thomas Pyle and Elizabeth
Langrish, circa 1582; bur. 25 Nov 1607 at Dinton, Wiltshire, England.
     He resided at Maiden Brailey, Wiltshire, England. He and Jane
Pyle resided at Dinton, Wiltshire, England. He and Jane Pyle resided
at Baycliffe, Wiltshire, England. He left a will; proved Jun 1608.

     Jane Pyle was born circa 1556. She left a will on 10 Dec 1646;
proved 6 Jul 1650. She died in 1650.
     Known children of Thomas Ludlow and Jane Pyle were as follows:
                 i. George Ludlow; baptized 7 Sep 1583 at Dinton,
                    Wiltshire, England; d. young.
     7.         ii. Gabriel Ludlow Esq, bap. 10 Feb 1587 at Dinton,
                    Wiltshire, England; m. Phyllis.
               iii. Roger Ludlow; baptized 7 Mar 1590 at Dinton,
                    Wiltshire, England; m. Mary Cogan, daughter of
                    Philbert Cogan and Anne Marshall, 1623; d. 1666 at
                    Dublin, Ireland.
                    He was educated in 1610 at Baliol College, Oxford,
                    England.
                    He immigrated in 1630 to Massachusetts; in
                    Winthrop Fleet. He was Deputy Governor in 1634 at
                    Massachusetts. He was Deputy Governor 1639, 1642,
                    & 1648 at Connecticut. He and Mary Cogan
                    immigrated in 1654 to England.
                iv. Anne Ludlow; baptized 5 Jul 1591 at Dinton,
                    Wiltshire, England; bur. 8 Jul 1613 at Dinton,
                    Wiltshire, England.
                 v. Thomas Ludlow; baptized 3 Mar 1593 at Baverstock,
                    co. Wilts, England; m. Jane Bennett, daughter of
                    John Bennett, 1624 at Warminster, co. Wilts,
                    England; d. 1646 at Warminster, co. Wilts,
                    England.
                    He resided at Warminster, Wiltshire, England. His
                    inventory taken 16 Jun 1646.
                vi. Col. George Ludlow; baptized 15 Sep 1596 at
                    Dinton, Wiltshire, England; m. Elizabeth; d. circa
                    1655 at York, VA.
                    He immigrated before 19 Oct 1630 to Dorchester,
                    MA. He resided circa 1635 at York Co., VA. He was
                    a member of Council between 1642 and 1655 at
                    Virginia. He left a will; proved 1 Aug 1656.

7.  Gabriel Ludlow Esq. (Thomas6, George5, William4Ludlowe, John3,
John2, William1); baptized 10 Feb 1587 at Dinton, Wiltshire, England;
m. Phyllis; d. circa 1639.
     He was a lawyer.

     Phyllis was born circa 1589. She left a will on 12 Sep 1657;
proved 18 Dec 1657. She died in 1657.
     Known children of Gabriel Ludlow Esq. and Phyllis were as
follows:
                 i. Gabriel Ludlow; baptized 18 Jun 1622 at
                    Warminster, Wiltshire, England; baptized 13 Aug
                    1622 at Warminster, Wiltshire, England; d. 1644 at

                ii. Lt. Col. Thomas Ludlow; baptized 1 Nov 1624 at
                    Warminster, Wiltshire, England; m. Mary; 1st
                    husband; d. 1660.
                    He resided at York Co., VA.
               iii. Francis Ludlow; b. 10 Sep 1626 at Warminster,
                    Wiltshire, England; d. before 11 May 1670.
                    He resided at Lancaster Co., VA.
                iv. Anne Ludlow; baptized 4 Dec 1628 at Warminster,
                    Wiltshire, England.
                 v. Elizabeth Ludlow; baptized 18 Oct 1632 at Maiden
                    Bradley, co. Wilts, England.
                vi. John Ludlow; b. circa 1634; d. before 15 Sep 1664.

circa 1668 at Lancaster Co., VA.

     Col. John Carter immigrated in 1635 to Lancaster Co., VA. He was
a member of the House of Burgesses at Virginia. He was a member of
Council at Virginia. He resided at 'Corotoman', Lancaster Co., VA. He
married Jane Glyn, daughter of Morgan Glyn; 1st wife. He married
Eleanor Eltonhead, daughter of Richard Eltonhead and Ann Sutton; 2nd
wife. He married Anne Carter, daughter of Cleave Carter; 3rd wife. He
married Elizabeth Sherley in 1668; 5th wife. He died on 10 Jun 1669 at
'Corotoman', Lancaster Co., VA. He was buried at Christ Church,
Lancaster Co., VA.
