                      Generation One

1.  Wendel Zerban; b. circa 1745; m. Catharine Becker, daughter of
Frederick Becker and Maria Christina, 24 Mar 1767 at First Reformed
Church, Philadelphia, PA; 1st wife; m. Philipina 4 Nov 1792 at First
Reformed Church, Philadelphia, PA; 2nd wife; d; yellow fever; bur. 27
Sep 1798.
     He was a tanner, a currier, & an innkeeper.

     Catharine Becker or Baker was born between 1745 and 1750. She
died on 8 Mar 1790.
     Known children of Wendel Zerban and Catharine Becker were as
follows:
     2.          i. Catherine Christina Zerban, b. 13 Nov 1769; m.
                    Armitt Brown.
                ii. Johann Heinrich Zerban; b. 19 Jun 1772; baptized
                    at First Reformed Church, Philadelphia, PA.
               iii. Wilhelm Zerban; b. 22 Feb 1775; baptized at First
                    Reformed Church, Philadelphia, PA; d. 3 Jun 1778
                    at age 3.
                iv. Philip Zerban; b. 9 Jun 1778; baptized at First
                    Reformed Church, Philadelphia, PA.
                 v. Wilhelm Zerban; b. 4 Feb 1782; baptized at First
                    Reformed Church, Philadelphia, PA; d. 27 Jul 1782.
                vi. Eleanor Zerban; b. 17 Sep 1785; baptized at First
                    Reformed Church, Philadelphia, PA.
               vii. Henrietta Marie Zerban; b. 19 Sep 1788; baptized
                    at First Reformed Church, Philadelphia, PA; m.
                    Richard Humberger 18 Jun 1807 at St. John's E.L.
                    Church, Philadelphia, PA; d. 9 Sep 1867 at age 78.

     Philipina may have been widow of Heinrich Zerban, who was
probably Wendel's brother.
     Known children of Wendel Zerban and Philipina were:
                 i. Rosina Philipina Elizabeth Zerban; b. 27 Dec 1792;
                    bur. 27 Sep 1798.


                      Generation Two

2.  Catherine Christina Zerban (Wendel1); b. 13 Nov 1769; baptized at
First Reformed Church, Philadelphia, PA; m. Armitt Brown, son of
Elijah Brown and Mary Armitt, 8 Sep 1792 at German Reformed Church,
Philadelphia, PA; d. 21 Sep 1858 at age 88; bur. at Laurel Hill
Cemetery, Philadelphia, PA.

     Armitt Brown was born in 1768 at Philadelphia, PA. He died on 19
May 1815.
