Services for Therese Deslatte, 101, will begin at 10 a.m. Friday at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church with the Rev. Daniel Picard officiating. Entombment will be in the St. John Mausoleum in Jeanerette.
A native of Patoutville and resident of New Iberia, Mrs. Deslatte died at 9:15 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 16, 1997, at Azalea Villa Nursing Home.
She is survived by one grandson, Carl Deslatte of New Iberia.
Mrs. Deslatte was preceded in death by her husband, George Deslatte; her parents, Luke H. and Cora Louiviere Landry; one son, Relius J. Deslatte; six brothers, Anais Joseph Landry, Andre Landry, Clovis Landry, George Landry, Suley Landry and William Landry; four sisters, Agalise L. Stansbury, Laurence L. Barrilleaux, Marie Landry and Leonide L. Leblanc.
Pallbearers will be Joe Robicheaux, Pat Boudreaux, Raymond Deslatte, Clifford Meyers, Jamie Moody and Mike Moody Jr.
