ST. MARTINVILLE - Services for Mrs. Daniel Louviere Sr., 66, the former Lorraine Albert, will begin at 2 p.m. Tuesday at St. Martin De Tours Catholic Church with the Rev. Austin Leger officiating. Entombment will be in St. Michael's Mausoleum.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until 10 p.m. today with a 7 p.m. rosary at Evangeline Funeral Home, which will reopen Tuesday from 8 a.m. until the time of services.
A native and resident of St. Martinville, Mrs. Louviere died at 2:10 a.m. Sunday, July 4, 1999, at a New Iberia hospital.
Mrs. Louviere was a seamstress with Ace Uniform Co. until her illness.
She is survived by two sons, Daniel Louviere Jr. of New Iberia and Thomas Louviere of Henderson; four daughters, Mrs. Donald (Juliette) Poirier, Mrs. Olan (Sheryl) Granger and Mrs. Clifton (Paulette) Mouton, all of St. Martinville, and Mrs. Malcolm (Victoria) Crochet of Loreauville; six brothers, Russell, Wilbert, Clesma, Berton, Roland and Moise Albert Jr., all of St. Martinville; five sisters, Mrs. Howard (Sidney Mae) Louviere, Mrs. Roscoe (Helen) Bienvenu, both of St. Martinville, Mrs. Harris (Irene) Theriot of Parks, Mrs. Stanley (Clara) Wiltz of Breaux Bridge, and Mrs. Charles (Livia) Olivier of Catahoula; 20 grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Louviere was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel Louviere Sr; her parents, Moise Albert Sr. and Gertrude Blanchard Albert; one brother, Ambroise Albert, one sister, Mrs. Clay (Florence) Hebert; and one grandchild, infant boy Mouton.
Pallbearers will be Danny, Dwayne and Donald Poirier Jr., Orie Granger, Brennon Crochet and Peter Gauthier.
Honorary pallbearers will be Thomas and Daniel Louviere Jr., Skylar Mouton, Roland, Russell and Wilbert Albert, and Joshua Breaux.
Evangeline Funeral Home of St. Martinville is in charge of arrangements.

ST. MARTINVILLE-Services for Anita Jones "Sis" Louviere, 71, will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Pellerin Funeral Home with the Bishop John Francis officiating. Interment will follow in First Home Mission Baptist Church Cemetery.

Visiting hours be observed Tuesday from 7 a.m. until time of service.
A lifelong resident of St. Martinville, Mrs. Louviere died Friday, June 18, 2004, at Lafayette General Medical Center.

Mrs. Louviere was a member of the Church of Gospel Ministry and active in Life Study Fellowship, Anita's Baking and an Advocate of Dialysis. She enjoyed her passion for baking, gardening, serving God, listening to gospel music and traveling with her family.

She is survived by her husband, Daniel A. Louviere Sr. of St. Martinville; three sons, Daniel A. Louviere Jr. of Lafayette, James E. Louviere Sr. and wife Cathy of Silver Spring, Md. and Wayne L. Louviere of Va; five daughters, Jo Ann Linzer and husband Jefferson of New Iberia, Shirley Louviere and Margo Linzer and husband James of Houston, Mathilda Linzer and Marjorie Chaisson both of Lafayette; four brothers, Allen, Wourrance and Richard Jones all of St. Martinville, Peter Jones of Houston; four sisters, Mary Burns and Rona Whitley both of Port Arthur, Texas, Emily Pierre of Loreauville and Judy Lucas of Victoria, Texas; 25 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, church family and friends.

Mrs. Louviere was preceded in death by her two daughters, Hazel M. Louviere and Kathi L. Manuel; parents, Allen and Bernadette Jones;, two grandsons, Brock E. Manuel and Jamar Linzer; a granddaughter, Taylor Louviere and one great-granddaughter, Jalen Linzer.
Pellerin Funeral Homes of St. Martinville is in charge of the arrangements.
