1. Joannis Adam Roehrig. Joannis Adam Roehrig. Born before 1700 in Stundwiller, Bas-Rhin, Alsace, Joannis Adam died in Stundwiller, Bas-Rhin, Alsace before 1740. Before 1717, he married Anna Maria (Dentinger ?), in Stundwiller, Bas-Rhin, Alsace. Born before 1700, Anna Maria died there on 23 Dec 1730.
       
  They had the following children:
       
    i. Joannis Adam (died as infant). Born about 1717, Joannis Adam died on 25 Jun 1717.

    iii. Maria Catharina. Born on 8 Apr 1725.
       
    iv. Maria Eva. Born on 11 Jan 1728.

Second Generation


2. Joannis Michael Roehrig. Born before 1721 in Stundwiller, Bas-Rhin, Alsace. On 23 Nov 1739, he married Anna Magdalena Walter, daughter of Balthasar Walter & Margaretha Philipps, in Stundwiller, Bas-Rhin, Alsace. Born before 1721 in Stundwiller, Bas-Rhin, Alsace, Anna Magdalena died there before 1783.
       
  They had the following children:
       
    i. Anton. Born on 2 Oct 1742, Anton died on 22 Aug 1782; he was 39.
       
    ii. Joannis Michael. Born on 24 Oct 1750, Joannis Michael died on 1 Nov 1750.
       
    iii. Johannis Michael. Born on 19 Nov 1751.
       
  3. iv. Joannis Adam (about 1754-1851)
       
    v. Anna Maria. Born about Jun 1755, Anna Maria died on 23 Jul 1755.
       
    vi. Maria Anna. Born on 12 Feb 1756.
       
    vii. Catharina. Born before 1758, Catharina died before 10 Feb 1816. On 15 Jan 1777, she married Joannis Meyer, in Stundwiller, Bas-Rhin, Alsace. Born on 7 Jan 1742 in Stundwiller, Bas-Rhin, Alsace, Joannis died before 10 Feb 1816; he was 74.

Third Generation


3. Joannis Adam Roehrig. Born about 1754 in Stundwiller, Bas-Rhin, Alsace, Joannis Adam died in there on 2 Apr 1851; he was about 97. On 10 Jun 1782, when Joannis Adam was 28, he married Catharina Philipps, daughter of Joannis Adam Philipps & Maria Eva Gassert, in Aschbach, Bas-Rhin, Alsace. Born on 29 Sep 1759 in Aschbach, Bas-Rhin, Alsace, Catharina died in Stundwiller, Bas-Rhin, Alsace on 8 Oct 1824; she was 65.

    i. Jacob. Born on 24 Mar 1783 in Stundwiller, Bas-Rhin, Alsace, Jacob died there on 6 Apr 1856; he was 73. On 13 Mar 1818, when Jacob was 34, he married Magdalena Philipps, in Stundwiller, Bas-Rhin, Alsace. Born on 22 Apr 1792 in Oberroedern, Bas-Rhin, Alsace, Magdalena died in Stundwiller, Bas-Rhin, Alsace on 23 Apr 1852; she was 60.
       
    ii. Joannes Adam. Born on 15 Jan 1787 in Stundwiller, Bas-Rhin, Alsace.
       
  4, iii. Elizabeth M. (1790-1880)
       
    iv. Ludwig. Born on 12 May 1793 in Stundwiller, Bas-Rhin, Alsace.
       
    v. Maria Eve. Born on 2 Dec 1804 in Stundwiller, Bas-Rhin, Alsace, Maria Eve died there on 17 Feb 1871; she was 66. On 15 Feb 1827, when Maria Eve was 22, she first married Mathias Philipps, son of Joannes Philipps & Maria Dangler, in Stundwiller, Bas-Rhin, Alsace. Born on 8 Feb 1805 in Oberroedern, Bas-Rhin, Alsace, Mathias died in Stundwiller, Bas-Rhin, Alsace on 6 Feb 1840; he was 34. On 16 Sep 1841, when Maria Eve was 36, she second married Joseph Ruff, son of Anton Ruff & Maria Schey, in Stundwiller, Bas-Rhin, Alsace. He was born there on 10 Mar 1817.

Fourth Generation


4. Elizabeth M. Roehrig. Born on 17 Sep 1790 in Stundwiller, Bas-Rhin, Alsace. Elizabeth M. died in Columbiana County, Ohio on 5 Jan 1880; she was 89. Buried in St. Paul Cemetery, Dungannon, Columbiana County, Ohio. On 23 Apr 1814, when Elizabeth M. was 23, she married Joseph Caspar, son of Joseph Caspar & Magdalena Leger, in Stundwiller, Bas-Rhin, Alsace. Born on 28 Oct 1786 in Stundwiller, Bas-Rhin, Alsace, Joseph died in Rose Twp., Carroll County, Ohio on 28 Apr 1869; he was 82.
       
  They had the following children:
       
    i. Bernard. Born about 1813, Bernard died near Zoar in Nov 1908 at the age of 95. On 22 Aug 1843, when Bernard was 30, he married Sophie Aman, in St. Mary’s Church, Morges, Carroll County, Ohio.
       
    ii. Ferdinand. Born on 9 Jan 1816 in Stundwiller, Bas-Rhin, Alsace. Ferdinand became a medical doctor. In 1939, at the age of 23, Ferdinand married Mary Ann Russell, the daughter of attorney William E. Russell of New Lisbon, Ohio.6 Mary Ann was born in 1822 in Steubenville, Ohio.6 In 1840, Ferdinand practiced medicine in Petersburg, now Mahoning county, from 1840 to 1853; then in Canfield for seven years; and in Niles from 1860 on.6 Each of these towns is in the vicinity of Youngstown.
       
    iii. John. Born about 1817. About 1834, he married Marie Goehrman.
       
  4. iv. Eve Rosine (Rosanna) (1817-1876)
       
    v. Joseph. Born on 31 Mar 1820 in Stundwiller, Bas-Rhin, Alsace. On 13 Feb 1844, when Joseph was 23, he first married Elizabeth Murz, in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Morges, Carroll County, Ohio. Joseph second married Magdalena Pfefferkorn.
       
    vi. Catherine. Born on 11 Aug 1822 in Stundwiller, Bas-Rhin, Alsace.
       
    vii. Elisabeth. Born on 29 Jun 1826 in Stundwiller, Bas-Rhin, Alsace. Elisabeth married Joseph Sultner, in St. Philip Neri Church, Dungannon, Columbiana County, Ohio.
       
    viii. André (Andrew). Born on 16 Jan 1828 in Stundwiller, Bas-Rhin, Alsace. Andrew died in Morges, Rose Twp., Carroll County, Ohio on 14 Jun 1916; he was 88. Buried on 17 Jun 1916 in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Morges, Carroll County, Ohio. On 11 Nov 1852, when Andrew was 24, he married Sophia Rennier, in Rose Twp., Carroll County, Ohio. Born about 1835 in France, 4 Sophia died in Rose Twp., Carroll County, Ohio on 27 May 1913; she was 78.
       
    ix. Mary Anne. Born in 1830 in Germany.3 On 3 Oct 1850, when Mary Anne was 20, she married Ellis Wilkey, in Carroll County, Ohio.
       
    x. William. Born about 1834. On 18 Nov 1869, when William was about 35, he married Mary E. Fox.
