Norfolk County, Virginia

Norfolk County, Virginia

1635 to 1800

This is the earliest home of any of our ancestors in the New World, as far as I know. In 1635 John Yates was only twenty years old when he came to Lower Norfolk County, Virginia, aboard the Globe, closely followed by many more of our forebears. I will be adding items about crime and punishment, religious life, witch trials, and other things as time allows, so I hope you'll check back.
