James Roy Stoner, son of Mary Winpenny Kaye and Eli Stoner, was born April 12, 1901, in Sumner, Chariton Co., Mo., and died July 04, 1989, in Shawnee Mission, Ks. He married Mattie Ruth Dowdall, June 7, 1924, in Brookfield, Mo.

Child of James Stoner and Mattie Dowdall is Shirley Ruth Stoner, b. in Sumner, Mo. Married Fred Brown. Currently living in Overland Park, Kansas.

Elizabeth and Joseph came to Baltimore, Md., in June of 1856. After Joseph's death, Elizabeth and sons and one of her daughters, Levina, migrated to Missouri. Levina was my great-grandmother.
