Father's
Day Gifts
Gifts
to Make For Dad
Fill a jar with Hersheys Hugs and Kisses.
Take one pair of new sports socks and one pair of gloves
(gardening gloves, work gloves, etc.)
Tack the socks together toe to toe.
This makes a pair of arms.
Tack one glove to the the open end of each of the socks.
Now you have arms and hands.
Wrap the arms and hands around the jar a couple of times,
crossing the hands at the front and tack together.
Attach this poem:
DADDY,
If all these Kisses aren't enough,
There's two hands to help with garden stuff.
If all these hugs don't work their charm,
There's two arms to help keep you warm.
If this gift doesn't show how much we care,
We have REAL hugs & kisses to share!
Dad's Pad Holder
Make a note pad holder with your Dad's favorite hobby -

~~~~~~
Father's Day Wall Hanging
Before you begin make sure the necktie is tied as is
would be when your dad wears it, because you hang it from
the hole in which the neck is supposed to be.
~~~~~~

This is a gift for an adult to make with a young child.
It's a poem with a handprint and an optional photo of the
baby/preschooler.
~~~~~~
Make a pen holder featuring someone's favorite things -
any hobby or interest can be used, you just need pictures
of the thing you want to put on it!
Poems for Dad
Your father would love an original poem for Father's Day!
There are many different kinds of poetry that you could
write. Two kinds that are easy and that most kids like to
write are Haiku and limericks.
