Mildred Langworthy appears in the 1940 Census as the granddaughter of John Schaub and grouped with the family of Ansel and Fern Langworthy, all living with John Schaub. However Mildred was born two years before Ansel and Fern were married, and she does not appear with them in the 1930 Census. Hence the assumption that Mildred was adopted, and perhaps the daughter of another of John Schaub’s children.
