The death record for Lee Lord Longworthy, transcribed in Wisconsin Deaths and Burials (LDS online), says that his parents were S and Eunice Longworthy.

Circumstantial evidence also supports this conclusion:
* Lee is said to have been born in LeRoy, Genesee Co., NY, and Sanford (of LeRoy) was the only Langworthy in Genesee Co. in the 1820 Census. That census shows that Sanford’s household contained a male of the right age.
* Lee’s child John was buried in the same cemetery as Sanford, and they are the only Langworthys buried there.
* In 1860, he and John W.C. were living in the same town in Wisconsin.

The 1860 Census says he was a carpenter.
