Notes for Capt. Warren Porter Langworthy (1827)
Four children, two of whom died young.

In the 1850 Census, he was said to be a printer.

Warren enlisted as a private in Co. E, 1st Regiment , Wisconsin Volunteer Infantry, and rose to the rank of Captain in the 12th Regiment. He was wounded in the side while acting as a scout for a raid at Edward’s Ferry, Virginia, but managed to retreat across the Potomac.2516

The 1895 Minnesota State Census says he had been a resident of Minnesota for 13 years, so presumably he entered a soldiers’ hospital there about 1882.
