Notes for Phineas F. Langworthy (1813)
Although WFL says that his name was Phineas Philip, his signiture on the iventory of his father’s possessions, written in his own hand, says Phineas F. The 1860 Census also looks like Phineas F.

In both the 1850 and 1860 census his occupation is “livery”, and in 1870 “Jailer”. In 1855 it’s “hotel keeper”.
