Notes for John Langworthy (1742)
According to William Franklin Langworthy, John was a drummer in the Revolution. He was on furlough at home when his command fought the battle of Groton, and he didn't participate.
He was a farmer and lived on the old Langworthy homestead.

The John Sanford record book, whose notes were probably written by John Langworthy’s older brother Thomas, says he was born Oct 22, 1742. The Barbour Collection says Oct 20.
