The general stores have all received shipments of new percales, ginghams, indian head, Peter Pan and the like for spring sewing and every woman who likes to sew, just can't hardly wait to buy some of these pretty things and go to making her other children new dresses. Three young men from some point in Wisconsin came into Kiron Saturday afternoon in a Buick car. They were well dressed, nice appearing young men, but had run up against hard luck and were broke. They offered their car for sale and after it was sold the buyer wished to make sure he was not gypped and notified the sheriff who came up and investigated matters. He found no indications of any heinous crime or misdemeanor only that the car still had a mortgage on it, so he took the young men to Denison to further look into things. The car is still here.
