Photo of the village of Oberfischbach, Germany. This was the home of several Germanna families. Pastor Hger was here from 1703 to 1711, when he retired.
("Oberfischbach" is literally "UpperFishStream", or, as we would say in America "UpperFishCreek", meaning that there was a "LowerFishCreek" down there somewhere.)

Photo of sign seen when entering Oberfischbach, Germany.
The Germans are inordinately proud of their towns and villages, and such signs prove it. A lot of work went into the construction, and, someone must tend the flowers in the hanging buckets.

This church was built in 1796, and replaced an earlier one on the same spot.
The earlier church was where Henry Hger was pastor from 1703 to 1711.
It is located in the small village of Oberfischbach.

This is the organ in the Oberfischbach Church.
It is installed in the front, which is less usual, over the pulpit, which is centered in the front of the church.
