Illenschwang Village
Photo of the village of Illenschwang, Germany, which is located in the area of Germany known as Bavaria, probably the most beautiful area in the country.
The country rolls very gently in this area.

Illenschwang Church
This is the church where the Andreas Gar family worshipped.
The church is not as big as the tower would suggest. Services are held every other Sunday.

Illenschwang Church Altar and Chancel
Andreas Gar is said to have given one of the paintings of the Twelve Apostles, which hang in the Chancel. IF he gave St. Andreas, it would be the right-most one on the back wall, but this is not verified, since it was impractical to take the paintings down and check the information on the back.
The Crown hanging at the top is made from natural fibers, such as grains. Many churches use color.

Illenschwang Church Nave
The Illenschwang Church Nave.
The Nave is very small and is augmented by a balcony, which is seen on the right side. The rear balcony is mostly taken up by the organ. Organs are typical in German churches, and are usually mounted in the back of a balcony, similar to this one in the Illenschwang church.
