d. in Indian Territory (near what is now Hugo, Oklahoma)October 8, 1904





On the left is my grandmother, Orlene Glazner Carpenter. On the left is my great-grandmother on my mothers side, Martha Levinia Whalen. This picture was taken around 1920. I don't remember either one of them, but I do have childhood memories of the tree and the barn in the background, at the home of my Carter grandparents.
