Nicholas Nenno, one of the first settlers of this town, is still a prominent man in Gensburg. He is the same cordial, good-natured man of old. He was the one that named our town Gensburg in honor to himself, and it is all right that we should have something to remember him by, for he settles all questions of law and gospel which arise in our quiet town. Long live old Nic. -- the West Bend Democrat, 29 Mar 1876. :2246
Nicks tavern is now the Addison House Bed and Breakfast. :2246
