    Know all person by these Presents that I, Levi Gable of Anderson District in the State aforesaid in consideration of Thirty (30) dollars to me paid by Luke Hamilton of the District and State aforesaid have granted, bargained, and sold and released and by these Presents do grant, bargain, sell and release unto the said Luke Hamilton All that Tract or Parcel of Land Containing Ten and Three fourths (10 3/4) acres, be the same more or less, situated in Anderson District in the State aforesaid, Beginning on a Stake 3x3xom Thence S1/4 W5, 90 to a Take 3x3xom Thence S36-1/2 W575 to a Stone 3x3xn.m. thence N85-1/2 E13.94 to a Stone 3x3xn.m. Thence N1-1/4 E 929 to a Stone 3x3xn.m. Thence West 1045 to the Beginning Stake Corner Bounded by the lands of the said Luke Hamilton and by me the said Levi Gable. Refenece may be had to a Plat of the same made on the 14th of January 1867. This above tract of land being part of the land which formerly belonged to Henry Gable and purchased by me from said Henry Gable.

    Together with all and singular the Rights, Members, hereditaments and appurtenances to the same belonging, or in any way incident or appertaining.

    To have and To hold, all and singular the premises above mentioned unto the said Luke Hamilton his heirs and assigns forever, defend all and singular the said premises unto the said Luke Hamilton his heirs and assigns against myself and my heirs and against every person whomsoever lawfully claiming, or to claim the same or any part thereof.

    Witness my hand and Seal, this the Ninth day of February in the year of our Lord One Thousand Eight Hundred and Sixty Seven and in the Ninety First year of the Independence of the United States of America.

    A. C. Jackson personally appeared before me A. Todd the subcribing Magistrate and made oath in due form of law and on oath saith that he did see the within named Levi Gable sign, seal, and as his Act and Deed deliver the within Deed for the use and purposes therein mentioned and that L. M. Hall was a subscribing witness to the same with himself. Sworn and Subscribed to this 11th day of February AD 1867
