    Know all men by these Presents that we Andrew J. Shaw, Agt. and Attorney for Mary C. Grimes, M. R. Gable, Sarah E. Shaw and W. F. Gable all of the State of Alabama, Shelby County, and also Atty for Levi Gable of Hart County, State of Georgia; and Annie E. Latham of Hart County and State of Georgia, representing herself and Pheby L. Hays of the State and County first aforesaid, representing herself (all heirs of Sarah M. Gable, deceased of the County and State first aforesaid), in consideration of the sum of Seven Hundred and Forty Four Dollars and Forty three cents to us paid by James L. Gable in the State aforesaid, and Anderson County, have granted, bargained, sold and released and by these Presents Do Grant, bargain, sell and release unto the said James L. Gable all our rights, Title, and interest, in that certain Piece, Parcel or Tract of land,

    belonging to the Estate of the said Sarah M. Gable, deceased, said Tract of land containing One Hundred Acres, more or less, situated in Hall Township, County and State first aforesaid and lying on the West side of and adjoining the Baskin Road; and a Small Portion lying in the forks of said Road and the Road leading to Anderson, by Flat Rock Church said Tract of land adjoining lands of L. M. Hall, James L. Gable and others, said tract of land having been Conveyed by Levi Gable to the said Sarah M. Gable, deceased, on the 26th day of December A. D. 1873.� For further particulars reference may be had to a Plat made by Robert Stucky D. S. and dated December 24th 1873.� Together with all and singular the Rights, members, hereditaments and appurtenances to the said premises belonging, or in anywise incident or appertaining:

    To have and to hold, all and singular the premises before mentioned unto the said James L. Gable his heirs and assigns forever. And We do hereby bind ourselves, our heirs, Executors, and Administrators to warrant and forever deferred all and singular the said premises into the said James L. Gable, his heirs and assigns and all persons whomsoever lawfully claiming or to claim the same, or any part thereof.

    Witness our hands and Seals this Thirty First day of October in the year of our lord One thousand Eight hundred and eighty Five and in the One hundred and 10th year of the Sovereignty and Independence of the United States of America.
