The following text appears in the records of baptisms, christenings and marriages of the St. Matthews Lutheran Church . The original volume is held in the Caroliniana Library at the University of South Carolina. These entries were copied from the original (not from the WPA transcription) and are in the same order and spelling as in the original volume.  This is now a complete record of the Christenings performed by Reverend Franklow during his tenure (1799-1815).  Spelling is as read, with no attempt to 'correct.'
