Nancy (Hanks) Lincoln, 1784-1818, wife of Thomas Lincoln and mother of Abraham Lincoln. She and Thomas were married in June 1806. Abraham, their second child, was born 12 Feb 1809. She was buried in a pioneer cemetery near the Lincoln family farm near Gentryville, Spencer County, Indiana. It is now a part of the Lincoln Boyhood National Memorial, located near Lincoln City, Indiana.
