      10-107: 25 July (blank year), Joseph Tucker Bell, planter, to Drury Mims, planter, both of Edgefield Co. SC, £150, 550 acres, being two tracts: (1) 100 acres granted 1 Sept. 1768 to John Sneed in Granville Co. SC near lick fork of Cedar Creek of Savannah River who conveyed 25 Jan. 1771 to George Strothers who by will dated 16 Sept. 1772 appointed his friend John Hopkins sole exec. to sell and dispose of the property; (2) 450 acres granted 8 Feb. 1773 to Solomon Peters on Cedar Creek of Savannah River adj. N. by John Snead & Thomas Ray; W. by Snead, Ray & John Spencer's, David Duncan; S. by Duncan & Colonel Barnard; whereas Solomon Peters conveyed 9 Oct. 1773 to John Hopkins and whereas was conveyed 8 June 1775 to Benjamin Bell, who made bonds and obligations to make title to Drury Mims but Benjamin Bell died intestate before title could be made, and the lands descended to Joseph Tucker Bell, heir at law of said lands.       Lamuel Johnson had 287 acres surveyed in 1789 on Beaverdam Creek waters of Clouds Creek in 96th Dist, granted him in 1790 (SC Grant 27-351, also indexed grant 25-109). In May 1820, Mary Duncan sold 100 acres from the east end of this grant to Willis Falkner (Edgefield SC Deed 40-60, rec. 1823). In 1822, Lamuel Johnson had sold 100 acres on Clouds Creek, part of a grant to Lamuel Johnson, to Elizabeth Johnson (Edgef. Deed 39-246). In Oct. 1825, Mary Duncan of Walton Co. GA sold 155 acres on Beaverdam of Clouds Creek, part of the 1790 grant to Lamuel Johnson, to John Gibson (Edgef. Deed B3-478).
