PA; dated 16 Feb. 1827, prob. 23 Aug. 1827; being somewhat indisposed in body; to wife Jennet the use of the dwelling house both above and below for life and 1/2 the garden and part of the spring house for her milk, and two of her choice bedsteads, half the grain that would come to me from the tenant yearly and also $15 in cash yearly for life, and the bald horse & colt and cows, etc., and to [my wife the use of] Susana Campbell during the time of her indenture, furniture, $50 of the Huntingdon Bank Stock with interest, etc.; to Nancy Fiagarty a cow, and 6 sheep if there be so many of her mark alive; to Samuel Edie Kyle Duncan $200 to be paid to his guardian for his use four years after my decease, and to said Samuel my watch; to my dutiful daughter Nancy Kyle alias Nancy Buchanan for use and benefit of her legal heirs the 1/2 remaining part of my real and personal property after above bequests are fully satisfied; to my said daughter Nancy 1/2 of the remainder of the Huntington Bank Stock, 1/2 my part of the Indiana and Cambria Turnpike stock and 1/2 of a tract of land in Indiana Co. and 1/2 what money is due by James Richard of Armstrong Co. or otherwise if not paid the half of said tract purchased by him from me, and to said dau.       F1-449/453: 31 Dec. 1790 Paul Zantringer of Borough of Lancaster, Lancaster Co. PA, merchant, to Jared Ingersol Esq. of City of Philadelphia and Thomas Duncan Esquire of Borough of Carlisle, Cumberland Co. PA, pursuant to warrant from PA granted to William Plunket 12 May 1773, there was surveyed and laid out a tract of land in Huntingdon Co., formerly Bedford, called "Elk Meadow" on Clearfield Creek incuding the forks of said Creek and a large Elk lick adj the said forks about 14 miles below the Clear fields adj. and below lands of James Wilson containing 251 acres; and persuant to one other warrant granted a certain William George 12 May 1773 there was surveyed and laid out a tract of land in Huntington Co. afsd called "Elk Meadows" on Clearfield Creek about a mile above the Forks and about 12 miles below the Clearfields including some beaver dams adj. and above land of James Wilson and about half a mile below land of David Hammond containing 257 acres and 3/4, and the said William George by deed 17 Nov. 1779 granted same to the said William Plunkel in fee; and persuant to one other warrant granted David Hammond 12 May 1773 there was surveyed and laid out a tract of land in Huntingdon Co. afsd called Beaver Dam Meadow situate on both sides of Clearfield Creek about 3 miles above the forks about half a mile above land of William George and 11 or 12 miles below the Clearfields containing 436 acres, and the said David Hammond by deed 7 June 1776 granted the same to said William Plunkel in fee; and pursuant to one other warrant granted James Willson dated 12 May 1773 there was surveyed and laid out a tract of land in Huntingdon Co. called "Elk Meadow" on both sides of Clearfield Creek about a quarter of a mile above the forks of said Creek and 60 perches above the great Elk Lick about 13 miles below the Clearfields adj. and above lands of said William Plunkel and below land of William George containing 203-3/4 acres, and the said James Willson by deed 15 Aug. 1775 granted same to said William Plunkel in fee; and the said William Plunkel by indenture dated 27 Aug. 1781 conveyed the said four tracts with appurtenances to Sebastian Graff and said Paul Zanbringer (sic), party hereto, as tenants in common and not as joint tenants, and by the indenture recorded in Bedford Co. Book A, pg.429&c; NOW said Paul Zantzinger for 368 pounds specie paid by said Jared Ingersol and Thomas Duncan, sell to said Jared Ingersole and Thomas Duncan his the said Paul Zantzinger's undivided moiety or half part of the said 4 tracts containing 1208 acres and a half, also all the buildings, improvements, ... and appurtenances, to the said Jared Ingersole and Thomas Duncan as tenants in common and not as joint tenants, subject to the proprietors purchase money if any, interest and quit rent due and to become due, warrant title. /s/ Paul Zantzinger. Hasker; in winter quarters at the Valley Forge; served 3 years; discharge lost when he was removing from Frederick Town to Kragers Town in MD.
      Statement 16 Aug. 1820; original pension #2909; age 67; blacksmith; wife Temperance aged 55 years; now farming on a place rented upon shares (1/3 to landlord) by himself but crops are small & not adequate for support of himself & wife.
