      A-82/84: 24 Oct. 1843, John P. Osborn, Sheriff of Jasper Co. MO, to Jesse B. Hopkins of Jasper Co. MO, by virtue of an execution from the office of the Clerk of the Dade Circuit Court of MO, wherein one Vincent ?? (too faint) as plaintiff and Asa G. Smith and Hiram Duncan ?? debt, said execution being issued on a transcript of a judgment filed in the office of the Clerk of the Dade Circuit Court, which judgment being recovered by said Pltf. vs. sd defts. before Basil? Luido?? a Justice of the Peace in Green Twp, Dade Co. MO, said execution dated 16 Sept. 1843, which execution came to my hands on 2 Oct. 1843, and on same day I proceeded to levy said execution on tract of land, the E 1/2 of NE 1/4 Sec.14 Twp.28 Range 29 in Jasper Co. MO containing 80 acres more or less, the property of said Hiram Duncan one of the defendants in said execution, ... advertised for public sale, sold on 23 Oct. 1843, to Jesse B. Hopkins, the highest and best bidder, $102. Wherefore, I the said John P. Osborn for $102 in cash paid by Jesse B. Hopkins, sell to said Jesse B. Hopkins the interest which Hiram Duncan had to the E 1/2 of NE 1/4 Sec.14 Twp.28 Range 29 at the time of the execution afsd. /s/ Jno. P. Osborn, Shff. MO, the E 1/2 of NW 1/4 Sec.4 Twp.28 Range 29W containing 83 acres and 74/100, also NW 1/4 of SW 1/4 Sec.4 Twp.28 Range 29W containing 40 acres more or less, with appurtenances, upon the express condition that if said Peter Duncan shall pay said Jesse B. Hopkins $150 with interest that may accrue specified in a note or obligation of even date executed by said Peter Duncan to said Jesse B. Hopkins, then these presents to the contrary notwithstanding (?? part of mortgage not copied by recorder?) in witness &c signed sealed and delivered in presents of /s/ Peter Duncan, wit. M.       A-110/111: David Duncan and William Brown Sr. sell to Larkin Maddox of Jasper Co. MO land on Spring River in Jasper Co. MO, designated by G.R?. Smith's receipt dated 1 Oct. 1844 in favour of William Brown Jr. as the SW 1/4 of SW 1/4 Sec.11 Twp.28 Range 29W containing 40 acres and one receipt in favor of David Duncan, same date, for SW 1/4 of SE 1/4 of Sec.10 Twp.28 Range 29W containing 40 acres, with appurtenances, also one sorrel mare 7 or 8 years old, one iron gray filly 2 years old next spring, one sorrel last springs colt. On the condition that should David Duncan and William Brown Sr. or either of them or any person for them shall pay to said Larkin Maddox $100 on or before 1 Sept. next with 10% interest from the date hereof until paid, this deed is to be void, except the privilege of making a dam 18 inches high across Spring River so as to trough the water or a sufficiencey of it into a slough for a mill now about to be erected? at or near the mouth of said slough. 4 Oct. 1844. /s/ David Duncan, William Brown Sr. Wit.       E-99/100: 4 Jan. 1859, John R. Cabaness of Jasper Co. MO to the heirs and legal representatives of David Duncan late of Jasper Co. afsd now deceased. That said David Duncan heretofore and during his lifetime purchased of said John R. Cabaness real estate for $500 to be paid but failed to make complete payment during the life of said Duncan, and the County Court of said Jasper Co. at the May term 1858 ordered Clisby Robinson as Admin. of said David Duncan decd. to complete the payment and said Robinson as admin. of said David Duncan decd. has this day paid to said John R. Cabaness $256.36 in full and complete payment of said real estate hereinafter mentioned, now the said John R. Cabaness sells to the heirs and legal reps. of said David Duncan decd, the real estate, the NE 1/4 of SW 1/4 of Sec.26 Twp.29 Range 32 containing 40? acres (dark center edges) and also an undivided half of NW 1/4 SW 1/4 Sec.24?
