Duncan, Catharine Duncan, John Johnson and Sarah Johnson, defendants, for partition of land; Circuit Court on 27 Aug. 1856 ordered partition be made between said Thomas G. Duncan, John Duncan, Benjamin Duncan, David Duncan, Nathaniel Duncan, Tandy E. Duncan, George W. Duncan, Alice A. Duncan, Catharine Duncan, Caroline Cato, Nancy Johnson and Sarah Johnson of real estate in the petition; appointed William Briggs, Daniel C. Lyon and James W. Daley commissioners to divide the real estate; that Daley & Lyon, a majority, reported on 24 Feb. 1857 that partition could not be made without great prejudice to the owners; the Court on 24 Feb. 1857 ordered sale to the highest bidder on 12 months credit; sold 21 Aug. 1857 to highest bidder John G. Johnson for $640, the S 1/2 W 1/2 SE 1/4 and SE 1/4 SW 1/4 of Sec. 12 and W 1/2 NE 1/4 Sec. 13, all Twp.48 R14; Sheriff made report 28 Aug. 1858, John G.
