KY; that Daniel Trout by his will directed his land be sold on credit of 1, 2, and 3 years, the land was sold at public auction on 10 Sept. 1868, William Duncan was highest bidder, deed to William Duncan 59-56/100 acres for $3,335.78 by three notes, payable in three equal installments with interest, lien retained on the land.

H-365: That on 10 Aug. 1868 J. Strother and others filed a petition against the heirs of Jas. Talbott in Trimble Co. Court for a division of the lands of Geo. Strother decd among his heirs, and the court on Jan. 1869 appointed Commissioners to divide the land, a division was made 1 and 2 Feb. 1869, and at Feb. term of the court, the Commissioners filed their report; at the March 1869 court the report and division was confirmed, this a deed to convey to the heirs; now this deed 8 March 1869 between J.W. Moreland and Milton Landey, commissioners, to W.B. Duncan and wife Catharine, land on Corn Creek on line of Wm. B. Duncan, 31 acres 1 rod, being lot #1 in said division. (FHL film 420,366)
