      S-90/91: 31 Aug. 1825, Josiah Ashurst and wife Rebecca late Rebecca Kennedy, one of heirs of John Kennedy decd late of Bourbon Co. KY, to James Duncan of afsd, for a conveyance made by James Duncan the father of said James to Thomas Kennedy for 35-3/4 acres dated Jan. 20, 1800, for the benefit of said Ashurst, sell and confirm a tract of 38 acres and 16 poles on Kennedys Creek, beg. at another corner of the Medows part, being part of a preemption patented in the name of John Kennedy's, the part hereby conveyed known by its number 2, being the lot drawn by said Ashurst and wife Rebecca in a division of said land made by the Bourbon Co. court which was sold by said Ashurst and wife to said Tho. Kennedy and was by him exchanged with James Duncan Senr. for the land conveyed by him to said Kennedy as above, and which was conveyed by said Ashurst and wife to said James Duncan decd. by deed 20 Jan. 1800 but which deed was defective, and the said James Duncan having conveyed the land to his son James, this deed is made to the latter in confirmation of the deed formerly made. Scott decd the father of said Margaret Scott his only child and heir, which is bounded ... one tract containing 93 acres (boundaries not copied), and one other tract being the interest which said Hannah Duncan as one of the heirs of said Samuel Scott decd had in the dower land of the widow of said Samuel Scott decd, refer to the division of this dower land of said widow among the heirs of said Samuel Scott. The intention of this deed being on the part of said James S. Duncan and wife to comply with the afsd agreement made by him with said Jeremiah Duncan and affirm the conveyance of the above land made by said Jeremiah Duncan to said Robert C.       49-311/312: 20 April 1849, Agreement between Jeremiah Duncan and James S. Duncan, both of Bourbon Co. KY, that Jeremiah Duncan is to convey by deed to said James S. Duncan a tract of land containing 500 acres to include the residence of said James S. Duncan and to contain 200 acres where Judge Thornton lived and died, which in the division of the land of Samuel Clay Senr. decd. was allotted to his son Henry, also 200 acres adj. on the south which was allotted to Samuel Clay Jr. and her son of said Samuel Clay Sr. and 100 acres on the SE end of the tract allotted to George Clay another son of said Samuel Clay Sr. decd, making in all 500 acres as afsd; and said James S. Duncan and his wife are to convey to said Jeremiah Duncan all the right and title which they have to a tract of land sold heretofore and conveyed by said Jeremiah Duncan to Robert C. Scott which descended to said James S. Duncan in right of his deceased mother Hannah Duncan late Hannah Scott by deed; and it is further understood and agreed between the parties that they are equally interested in all the fat cattle they now have on the road to the Eastern Market including those which they fatted and grazed themselves and those they purchased from Vanmeter? and also in the hogs which accompany said cattle to market and also that they are equally interested in the stock, hogs, now on their places, in number about 80 each and also the sheep about 66 in number, also in all the horses & cows which Jeremiah Duncan owned before he moved to the Bedford place. It is further understood that parties be equally bound to pay all debt owing by said Jeremiah and said James S. Duncan previous to 1 Oct. 1848, this includes the Bank debt, the Jno. Breckenridge debt, and the Simpson debt, and the debt incurred for the purchase of the cattle from Vanmetre, they are to be equally interested in 5 shares Northern Bank stock owned by said Jeremiah Duncan and they are to be equally interested in all the proceeds of the claim which Jeremiah has established against W.W. Eldridge Rinclier?? and also in the stock, cattle, now on hand about 90 in number and in the Turnipshead? stock in the Winchester road and are to be equally bound to pay the subscription for said stock to said road. Jeremiah Duncan gives to James S. Duncan the two negroes Jack and Sarah and Jas. S. Duncan hereby sells and conveys to Jeremiah negro boy Henry for $350, which $350 Jeremiah Duncan will pay James S. Duncan by crediting that amount to James S. Duncan in this settlement of their debt account. Said Henry is a negro heretofore purchased by James S. Halsell, wife of Elijah M. Halsell, & John H. Ewart of Bourbon Co. KY, for $2250 paid in land in Ray Co. MO, sell and convey all first party's undivided right and interest to real estate of the late Jacob Duncan, viz, a tract of 12 acres+ of land on the waters of Townsend in Bourbon Co., beg. corner to Wm. David in Smith's line, then ... Duncan's line, then ... Shawhan's line, then Rail Road lot, then W. David's line on eastern edge of rail road, excepting out of foregoing, about 5? (2?) acres sold by Jacob Duncan to KY Central Railroad & to David Tale? leaving about 10 acres & 39 poles in the described tract. Also 1 acre more or less conveyed to Jacob Duncan by David Shawhan on waters of Stoner adj. above tract, and is all of the land conveyed to Jacob Duncan by said Shawhan except that portion sold to Samuel Ewart & John T. Redman & to T.C?. Moore and is the same on which the dwelling house, ticket office & frame warehouse are situated and also excepting out of the Shawhan land the frame tailor shop sold by Jacob Duncan to T.E. Chambers & Kate Chambers his wife, George R. Bell & Jimmie his wife, and Duncan Bell & George Elliott Bell the tract of 200 acres for the life of said Mary C. Duncan, with remainder in fee simple to said Winnifred Ford, Kate Chambers, Hannah Taylor and Jimmie Bell; now this (blank) January 1877, between said James K. Ford & Winnifred Ford his wife, William M. Taylor & Hannah Taylor his wife, William P. Chambers & Kate Chambers his wife, George R. Bell & Jimmie Bell his wife, and Duncan Bell & George Elliott Bell by R. Harris, Master Commissioner of Bourbon Co. Circuit Court, to Mary C. Duncan, per order and judgment of the court and $1 paid, sell land in Bourbon Co. KY containing 500 acres to include the residence of James S.
