Dunkin, that James Leachman, guardian of person and estate of (too faded) Leachman infant heir of William Leachman late of said county decd. on 24 March 1859 filed his petition in Common Pleas Court of Putnam Co. IN that his ward was entitled to the undivided 1/20 part of undivided 2/3 of real estate in Putnam Co., W 1/2 NE 1/4 and part of E 1/2 of NE 1/4 Sec.3 Twp.14N Range 3W, last named part commencing at SE corner of said 1/2 1/4 Sec. first above described, then east ..., and same interest in 50 acres off south end E 1/2 SE 1/4 Sec.34 Twp.15N Range 3W, and same interest in two lots adj. last tract known as lots 5 and 6 in Nicholsonville, all in Putnam Co., there were no rents arising from the land, and asking for appraisement and sale at private sale. The court directed that Moses T. Bridges and William Hadden should appraise the property, at June 1859 they reported an appraisal at $280, the court ordered the guardian to sell the premises after taking his bond, and on 16 June 1859 the guardian had sold the undivided interest to Peter K. Dunkin for $280 to be paid in 3 equal installments, at 6, 12 and 18 months from date of the sale, court approved sale, James A. Crawley, Commissioner, for $280, convey and warrant to Peter K.
