IN in a suit in Chancery wherein said Joseph Dunkin was complainant and David S. Henderson, Thomas F. Penbridge, Joseph Hanna, Edward Barroll, and the unknown heirs of Lemuel Bas?ley, decd, were defendants, it was ordered by the Court that there was due the complainant on account of the lands hereinafter mentioned, the sum of $1683.96, and the lands were liable for the payment, with interest from the date of said decree and the costs of suit, and unless the money, interest and costs were paid within 60 days, the lands should be sold at public sale, and the court appointed John Bodley, Sheriff of Fountain Co., a commissioner to make such sale, and ordered the sale to the highest bidder in Town of Covington, Fountain Co. IN, and after notice, the commissioner should execute a deed to the purchaser ..., on 13 Oct. 1840 the Sheriff was authoried to make the sale, and on 28 Nov. 1840 ... sold to complainant Joseph Dunkin for $1900, the highest bidder, now to confirm the sale, the said $1900 paid, sell the lands with appurtenances in Fountain Co.
