IL, I hereby certify that by virtue of a decree made and entered of record at Oct. term 1861 of Effingham Circuit Court in Chancery wherein Washington Duncan was complainant and Chas? Webster and Martha Webster were defendants, I did on 28 Dec. 1861 per public notice, sold at public sale the SW 1/4 NE 1/4 Sec.29 T6N R8E in Jasper Co. IL, also NE 1/4 NE 1/4 and SE 1/4 of NE 1/4 of Sec.13 T6N R7E in Effingham Co. IL, and Washington Duncan having bid $150.67 for each of said tracts, the same having been offered and sold separately, he the highest and best bidder, became the purchaser. Now if the said property shall not be redeemed within 15 months from this date according to law, then the said Washington Duncan will be entitled to a deed for same. /s/ 28 Dec. 1861, W/M.
