4846 In Memory of The Revd Bryce Johnston, DD, Minister of Holywood, who departed this life April 27th 1805 in the 59th year of his age and 34th of his ministry He was endued with intellectual powers uncommonly sound and vigorous and possessed a heart susceptible of the most sincere and ardent affection He was firm and intrepid in maintaining the good order and peace of his native land and the constitution and purity of the church Depth of research and soundness of principle distinguish his works, by which though dead, he still speaketh Zealous for the salvation of souls he boldly declared the whole councel of God Long had he felt on his heart and exemplified by his own conduct the power of the Gospel, and when visited by that sickness which proved speedily unto death, he attested its truth and in full assurance of hope, was enabled to say, "I know that as to me to live hath been Christ, so to died will be gain"

Entries dated later than 1920 were often disregarded.  These inscriptions  are now updated and small errors in transcription have also been corrected.  Only two stones were missed and these are given below.
