Descendants of Henricus DeHooff

First Generation

1. Henricus DeHooff was born on 8 Dec 1707 in Flomborn bei Alzey, Palatinate, Germany. He died in Jul 1785 in Manchester Twp., York Co., Pennsylvania.

Henry DeHooff emigrated from Flomborn, Germany 28 Mar 1742 with his wife, Anna Maria, and children.  He was manumitted (relieved of serfdom) and paid an export tax on the belongings he was taking from the country.  The family arrived in Philadelphia 3 Sept 1742 on the Loyal Judith.  It is possible that the three younger children of Henry and Anna Maria died on the voyage since there are no further records for them.
