I use the book, Leonard Loftin and Isaiaah Johnson Families, and I believe
the statement that Eliz. Loftin was born in Pa. is in error.
The lineage is:

Leonard Loftin whose will was proved in Craven Co. in 1720 and wife
Susannah Burtonshall

Cornelius Loftin b. 1695 d. 1672 m. Rachel Herring first, then Jemimah
Russell.

Elizabeth Loftin m. William Nunn in Jones County

This book lists only one child of The NUNNS and that was an Elizabeth.

I believe that Ashley Loftin has more info. He is on the Loftin List.

This is a web site containing a large gedcom with many Nunns. There are several disagreements between the information in this web site and the information collected previously. Most importantly, this web site does not include Fredonia Nunn as one of children of Hawkins H. Nunn. Also importantly, this site identifies Jemimah Russell as the mother of Elizabeth Loftin, rather than Rachel Herring, despite what Loftin researchers generally assert. Additonally, Sarah Glass is listed as the wife of Hawkins Nunn, not as the second wife of Hawkins H. Nunn.
