John Whipple 1765-1830 is buried in Ellor Cemetery on Dummerston Hill in Windham Co, VT. His wife, Basmoth Elnore Hutchins 1769-1846, died near Council Bluffs, Pottawattamie Co, IA while travelling with son Edson Whipple on the westward Mormon migration, but her burial place is unknown. Edson accompanied the noted Brigham Young to Utah in 1847, and his diary entries can be found online.
