Both presidents and their first ladies are buried in the basement crypt at United First Parish Church. They were moved there from the nearby cemetery. Fresh flowers are delivered from the sitting president each year on the deceased's birthday. Note that the flag is placed with the stars on the right so that the deceased is facing the stars on the left as it is normally viewed.
