In the name of God Amen. I William BARTLETT of the County of Warren & State of North Carolina being of sound and perfect mind and memory Blessed be God, Do this third Day of November in the year of our Lord Christ 1807 make and Publish this my last will and Testament in manner and form Following, that is to say,

First, I give and bequeath to my Beloved wife, Elizabeth all my land & household & kitchen furniture, one sorrel mare, all my Stock of Cattle and hogs with all the corn & fodder to her and her heirs for Ever.

Item. I give and bequeath to my Eldest son Samuel BARTLETT five five [sic] Shillings Virginia Currency to him and his Heirs for Ever with all I have heretoFore given him.

Item. I give & bequeath to my son Thomas BARTLETT five Shillings Virginia Currency to him and his Heirs for Ever with all I have heretofore given him.

Item. I give and bequeath to my Beloved son Richenson1 [Richardson?] BARTLETT five Shillings Virginia Currency to him and his Heirs for Ever with all I have heretofore given him.

Item. I give and bequeath to my Daughter Mary KELLY wife of Wm. KELLY of Edgefield County, South Carolina all my cattle I possess? in that County to her & her Heirs for Ever with all I have heretofore given her.

Item. I leave one Sorrell horse Colt and my riding Saddle to be sold to pay Debts.

and I hereby make and ordain my worthy Friend Thomas POWER Executor of this my last will and Testament. In Witness whereof I the said William BARTLETT to this my last will and Testament set my hand and seal the day and year above written.

Signed and sealed, Published and Declared by the said William BARTLETT, the Testator, as his last will and Testament in the presence of us who were Present. James WHITE jun, John x MAREY?.

Warren County November Court 1807. This last will of William BARTLETT was proved in open Court by the oaths of James WHITE & John MAREY? The subscribing witnesses thereto and was ordered to be recorded.

In obedience to an Order of the Worshipful Court of the County of Warren to us directed we have examined the above account current and find it supported by proper vouchers, and that the Estate of William BARTLETT deceased stands above stated indebted to Thomas POWER Exr. in the sum of three pounds Eighteen Shillings and three pence Currency.

Warrenton. 24th May 1813.

This account current of the Estate of William BARTLETT deceased, was examined by the above Commissioners appointed for that purpose, approved of by the Court, returned by Thomas POWER Executor on oath, and on motion the same was Ordered to be recorded.
