"Elizabeth JONES, widow came into court and made oath that Lewis JONES, deceased, departed this life without making any will so far as she knows or believes, and on her motion and giving security for her just and faithful administration of the said estate, certificate is granted her for obtaining administration in due form.

Thomas BARTLETT with William MILLER, Thomas DICKENSON, Henry LONG, Jr., and Robert JOHNSON as his securities gave an indemnifying bond to release from obligation Samuel WHARTON, who at the request of Elizabeth JONES, then widow of Lewis JONES and now wife of said BARTLETT, had gone security in the sum of �500 sterling on Elizabeth�s administratrix�s bond."
