It is therefore ordered that publication be made in the North State

news paper for six successive weeks requiring said defendants

to appear at the office of the clerk of Superior Court for the County

of Montgomery at the Court House in Troy on the 1st day of June

next and answer the compaint of the plantiff, or the case will be heard

????? as to term of office in Troy this (can't make out date, could be a 13, but looks

like the 3rd of April 1871) (also written on top of this is: Witness C.C. WADE,

residing in the state of Indianna Plainfield PO said lands subject to dower

of Elizabeth CRANFORD the widow of intestate which has heretofore

alloted to her-

Your petitioner further showeth that a sale of said lands except the widows dower

is necessary to enable him to pay the debts of his intestate and the charges of

administration to the  and therefore that said

may be sold by your Petitioner under advice of this Court on such terms as the

Court may direct and that the proceeds may ???? into assets in his hands for the

payment of said debts and charges

Your petitioner prays that a summons with a copy of this Petition be issued to the

said Dunnaho CRANFORD non res that publication may be made in the North

State a newspaper- and that a guardian ad litum for all minor defts heirs at Law

for them to answer.
