The Commissioners for the town of Troy met in called session on above written date, the following members being present:

C. J. Poole, Mayor

R. T. Poole} Commissioner

Dr. J. A. Siske} Commissioner

Dr. S. H. McCall} Commissioner

H. T. Balton} Commissioner

J. C. Hurley} Commissioner

Z. F. Cranford, Marshall

Minutes of last meeting read & approved.

On motion, seconded and carried it was ordered by the board that the franchise of I. F. Chandler he and the same is hereby revoked for the reason that said I. F. Chandler has not maintained an efficient and satisfactory system of electric lights for the town of Troy.

And it is further ordered that said I. F. Chandler be notified by the Mayor that he remove poles and other lighting equipment from the corporate limits of the town of Troy by the first day of December 1912.It was ordered by the board that the main street from Mr. H. T. Balton’s residence to Mr. Samuel Frazier’s be worked up under the supervision of H. T. Balton.

There being no further business the board adjourned.

The Commissioners for the town of Troy met in called session date above written, the following members being present:

C. J. Poole, Mayor

Dr. S. H. McCall} Commissioner

J. C. Hurley} Commissioner

H. T. Balton} Commissioner

Z. F. Cranford, Marshall

The prime object of this meeting being to reconsider the action of the last meeting relative to the revoking Electric light franchise of I. F. Chandler and order to remove poles and lighting equipment from corporate limits of Troy by Dec. 1st. And I. F. Chandler was present in person to make his own explanation on the subject.

The board declined to rescind the revoking of the light franchise, but extended the time to Mr. Chandler until Feby 1st, 1913 for removing poles and lighting equipment from the corporate limits of the town of Troy.

The board ordered that the Mayor notify Troy Telephone Co. to meet the board of Commissioners for the town of Troy on its next regular meeting first Monday night in December, and show cause why their franchise should not be revoked.

There being no further business the board adjourned.

The Commissioners for the town of Troy met in regular session on above written date, following members being present:

Minutes of November meetings read and approved.

It was ordered by the board that the town Marshall have shavings hauled and put on all the side walks in the town where needed.

On motion, The Troy Telephone Co. was given until next regular meeting to appear and show cause why franchise should not be revoked, it appearing that the place of meeting of the board was not specified on notice served.

It was ordered by the board that Z. F. Cranford be paid for 28 days in October and 30 days in November services as town Marshall at $1.25 per day.

The board of Commissioners for the town of Troy met in called session on above written date, the following members being present:

C. J. Poole, Mayor

R. T. Poole} Commissioner

Dr. J. A. Siske} Commissioner

Dr. S. H. McCall} Commissioner

H. T. Balton} Commissioner

Z. F. Cranford tendered his resignation to the board and on motion, duly seconded, his resignation was unanimously accepted.

On Motion, duly seconded, Mr. L. C. Robinson was unanimously elected Marshall for the town of Troy, N. C. his salary being fixed at $25.00 per month solid time in addition to his commissions and fees.

It was ordered by the board that the Mayor settle with ex-Marshall Z. F. Cranford and present account at its next regular meeting for auditing.

There being no further business, the board adjourned.
