To the Sheriff of Montgomery County---Greetings:

You are Hereby Commanded, To take the bodies of

Joseph HURLEY, A.H. SANDERS, Thomas J. FORNEY, J.D. COGGINS

if to be found in your

bailiwick, and them safely keep, so that you have them before the Judge of your

Superior Court of Law, at the next Court to be held for the County of Montgomery, at the

Court-House in Troy, on the last Monday in February next, then and there to answer the

State of North Carolina to the use of Jacob REYNOLDS Amin. of John CRANFORD

of a plea that they under unto the Plaintiff Four Thous and dollars

which they owe and detain to his damage two hundred dollars.

Herein fail not and have you then and there with this Writ.

Witness, James B. BALLARD, Clerk of our said Court at Office, in

Troy, the last Monday in August, A.D. 1866

Issued the 9th day of January 1867.
