A Curious Relationship

Mr. Edmund Honeycutt married the daughter-in-law of Mr. Needham

Whitley, and Mr. Needham Whitley married the daughter of Mr. Edmund

Honeycutt, now being firm believers in the Bible truth, that the woman was

made for a help-meet for man, and reducing their faith to pratice, four of

Mr. E. Honeycutt's sons, Eli, Harrison, Noah and John took to themselves

wives of the daughters of Mr. Needham Whitley, and, in the course of time,

Eli's wife, who was a widow having children before he married her, died

and, to cap the stack Eli then married his own wife's daughter.

Now, Mr. Editor, if this don't entitle Stanly to a premium, Nehemiar

Muggins will waste no more time, paper, and ink in writing to secure a

wreath of fame for Stanly.

All those parties have children. Will some one who is skilled in

mathematical affinity and consanguinity, please tell us the kin of those

children?

Respectfully,

NEHEMIAR MUGGINS

Whitley, March 3, 1890
