My husband purchased this book many years ago on the north shore of long island , n y. I came across it and noted it was a signed book. However, it appears to be a one of a kind in that it was inscribed to Fred L Cranford on the front cover. On the inside there is a inscription to Fred Cranford from Anna George de Mille. What makes this so unique is that the front cover also carries the initials A G Demille. The other extraordinary feature is that the book was written by the famous economist Henry George. Anna George De mille was his daughter. She was married to the brother of the famous playwright, author Cecil De Mille. It appears this book was given/inscribed to Fred Cranford is a one of a kind and printed for her personally . This book/publisher was not produced for the public. ~ Chrys Stentiford 2004
