W. J. Hinson, who several months ago shot James Cranford in a barroom in
Charlotte,
and who has been sentenced to be hanged has been granted a new trial by
judge Starbuck,
but Solicitor Webb has appealed to the Supreme Court against Judge
Starbuck's order.
