Photo is of my uncle, William Russell Cranford, son of Arnold G. Cranford & Lillian Jordan Cranford. He was my hero, who served several tours in Vietnam. Several purple hearts bestowed upon him, as well as a bronze star for his service for our country. In 1982, I was given his medals and cherish them. He served in several branches of the military during the course of his career. Bill died in 1982. I will forever miss him. ~ 2003 Cathy Cranford
